The
track/DJ/party that made me want to be a DJ was:
The old Love Garage parties at King
Street in the early 90's. Local DJ’s like Aaron O., Jan Cooly,
and guys like Little Louie, Tony Humphries and Kerri Chandler.
Influences:
Everything from classic rock, to reggae, hip-hop,
R&B, soul, and just about everything...
I
got my first break:
Playing at little warehouse and house parties.
Some
DJs I like playing with are:
Marques Wyatt, Mo Mo, Julius, Jay-J, David Harness,
Frenchwa and many more...
Favorite
thing about the SF scene:
Diversity and character. There’s a lot of
great DJ’s and support from the people, which keeps this city
rocking all the time!
Least
favorite thing about the SF scene:
Not enough after-hour clubs and to many shit sound
systems.. I also wish the bars served later than just 2 am!
My
favorite SF party is/was:
Lift and Love Garage, Boat Parties and Groove
Kitchen was a lot of fun also!
My
favorite Club to play in is:
Sir
Henrys in Cork, Ireland and La Terraza in Barcelona, Spain are great.
The End up rocks also of course!
If
I could put together MY dream music festival, the Entertainment would
be:
Bob Marley, Jimmy Hendrix, Burning Spear, the
Roots, Jill Scott, Sade, Steely Dan, Guru, Tribe called Quest, shit,
I could go on for a long time here on this one!
If I couldn't play records I would probably be a professional:
Recording Studio Junky, Oh wait,
I already am...
I want to thank these people for helping me get this
far:
All the music lovers and supporters
worldwide....
What
you want people to know and we didn't ask:
Keep
it real! There’s enough hate in this world!
My motto is:
"Keep it real!" |
