Event: Voda Venue: Voda (56 Belden place @ Bush) Dj's: TK Disco (Travis) Music: house Cover: free |
Uber-modern downtown vodka bar Voda is a couple
steps ahead of many venues that claim an upscale ‘ultra lounge’
status. While it has a New York feel with its contemporary
design, it lacks NYC’s and LA’s “better than thou” pseudo
high-class attitude. Creating a perfect bar is a little like
creating a perfect vodka martini, a splash of upbeat groovy
house combined with a friendly vibe emanating from a polished
crowd. DJ Travis brings it all from funk to house. (JM) |
