Hip Hop Film Fest at the Roxie
You know about MCing, breakdancing,
graffiti and Djing but hip-hop has a new element. It's
called independent film! Lately there have been a myriad
of hip-hop films and documentaries popping up. If you
missed out, you can catch up now at The Roxie Film Festival.
Some titles include "Straight Outta Hunter's Point",
"Resistencia: Hip-Hop in Columbia" and "Battlesounds".
This is also a benefit for the Hunter's Point Youth
and Parks Foundation and some of the directors will
