Event: A Club Called Rhonda
Venue: Monarch
DJs: Krystal Klear, DJ Kaos, Goddallars, DJ M3, Davi A
Music: house, disco
Cover: $20-25
A Club Called Rhonda is making its debaucherous way up from the Southern depths (no, not hell, but LA) to visit San Francisco for the first time. It's a Dionysian music event with disco sounds that have been heard this side of 1982 although it is here that they reach their home in this sensual, pansexual music, dancing, titillating endeavor. They're bringing more than just a vibe up from the hot land below, they're also bringing Krystal Klear, the Irish DJ who has charmed the pants off the world dance scene and even recorded alongside Chic's Nile Rogers. But that's not all. Also featured tonight is Berlin's classic disco leader DJ Kaos, a man who represents the old school sound on the new school ground. Rounding out will be Chicago's Smart Bar's Michael Serafini and some locals like our own DJ M3 and Davi A to set the tone like only locals can. (ML)

Event: Claude Vonstroke

Cover: $35-45 presale
Dirtybird Godfather, Claude Vonstroke, is back at Audio this Friday. In this day and age of music cross-pollination, Claude VonStroke sits at the forefront of all that is good, proper, and most importantly, fun. He's just as at home remixing Kenny Larkin or Rihanna as he is dropping multiple underground hits. DJ-wise, his relentless touring of every major city, festival and, basement after-party around the world has only enriched this unique perspective on music. As the owner of the record labels, Dirtybird & Mothership, VonStroke also built an impeccable A&R roster. Today, his labels continue to surprise and innovate in the underground dance scene, releasing an enigmatic combination of house, funk, dirty-bass, and electronica. Staying true to Crenshaw's Detroit heritage, Dirtybird and Mothership donate 10% of profits to a children's music school in Detroit.

Event: Club Lonely
Venue: OMG

We've told you here about Club Lonely enough times that hopefully you already know all the details. The only important detail left to tell, really, is that you should just go. It's a queer-friendly, five-all-night kinda dance party in the sonic back room at OMG (seriously, look up and you'll wish you never waited in line at the planetarium) that always features the Club Lonely residents who play a mixture of tech and house that can veer from disco to techno to darkwave in a moment but will always keep you dancing. It's an outfit friendly night so put on your best Club Kyd look. (ML)

Event: Feed Me
Venue: Mezzanine
DJs: Feed Me, No Mana, MPHD, Non Sequitur
Music: electro, dubstep, dnb
Cover: $20-30
Feed Me is the moniker of Brit (obviously, with this kind of sound) Jon Gooch (although we also think that is a fun name in and of itself). Originally going by the name Spor, Gooch was a well-received drum n' bass producer before being the first artist signed to Deadmau5's mau5trap label. He's also released on Noisia's label Division as well as starting his own label, Feed Memusic. His sound is thoroughly a mixture of his influences, with an EDM-inspired, big room sound, as well as some deep bass drops and pitched down dubstep vox. It's a sonic overload so be prepared to drop. (ML)

Event: Mark de Clive-Lowe
Venue: Monarch
DJs: Mark de Clive-Lowe
Music: house, progressive soul
Cover: $10-15 presale
Whether you call him artist, producer, composer, pianist, performer, DJ, or selecta, titles are impartial to the marvel of Mark de Clive-Lowe (MdCL). Many try to classify this impressively fertile music journey, yet to identify with only one label belies the heavy scope of the ride. The piano set the course, the keyboard is the vehicle, and with the drum machine as the fuel, the relentless skill of MdCL is underscored by a rare sonic sensibility. He's an accomplished musician, originally sowing his oats in straight-ahead jazz, before taking the music far beyond. Anchored by the duality of his Japanese and New Zealander parentage and ignited by a love of playing piano at the age of four, it is no wonder this multi-national phenom has seen his explosive natural gifts blaze across the globe from NZ to the US, UK, Europe, Asia and Cuba.

Event: Sneaks
Venue: Club Six
DJs: The NeedlExchange, major(1), Mark O'Brien, Beya
Music: house (deep, funky, disco), soul
Cover: $15-40
Dore Alley is in full swing this weekend, so leather and fetish enthusiasts rejoice! Run by the same non-profit that hosts the Folsom Street Fair, Dore Alley is considered a warm-up event to the big she-bang. And of course, there will be parties all over the bay, like Sneaks, which is taking over Club Six this Saturday. This 'polyglamorous' sneaker fetish event returns and features the musical stylings of The NeedlExchange, major(1), Mark O'Brien and Beya. Dubbed the "athletic gear fetish party turned underground gay rave" Sneaks promises to be full of gays, gear and beats, the perfect trifecta for any Dore Alley event. (CQ)

Event: Uner
Venue: Halcyon
DJs: Uner, Derek Hena, Martin Aquino
Music: tech-house
Cover: $10-20 presale
Since his debut in Diynamic in 2009 until his Newcomer Dj Award in 2013, Uner has doubtlessly had the time of his life. After a whole life devoted to music, the reward comes in all levels, gigs all over the globe and his music released by the best electronic music labels; he's a regular at labels like Visionquest, Cocoon, Cadenza, Cécille or Diynamic, the label which has released on 2014 his debut album, "432", the most personal view of a Uner that loves house, techno, melodies and vocal harmonies, a work that shows the ripeness and grace status of this Dj and producer and has been very well received among audience and critics.
