Hip-Hop Dance Fest
The golden age of hip-hop and b-boy culture may be behind us, but the dance moves are just as sensational today, if not more so. The 13th Annual San Francisco Hip-Hop Dance Fest features 19 top-ranked dance companies from four countries battling it out on the dancefloor. Four shows over three days feature two entirely different programs with a chance to see each one twice if you just can't get enough of the pop-locking, head spinning and all the other moves they've got tucked under their sleeves. Parking is limited at the Palace of Fine Arts, so plan ahead, carpool, arrive early, take public transit, or walk from another parking location. Date: Fri 11/18-Sun 11/20, Time: varies, Place: Palace of Fine Arts Theatre, Cover: one show $40, both programs $75, More Info (EB)
