Groove Cruise Flash Back Party Chronicles of a Nitevibe Photographer
The Groove Cruise was an epic experience. From the minute I arrived at the port I knew this would be an event not easily forgotten. The brainchild of Jason Beukema, founder of the progressive travel company Whet Travel, Groove Cruise is hosted on a Norwegian ocean liner daunting in size. Can you imagine 2000+ people on an cruise ship all there to party under the warm Caribbean sun? Within 4 hours the ship was completely loaded and the pool deck party was already banging--and I mean BANGING! DJ Funkagenda electrified the crowd. Everybody was going wild! I was taking pictures, dancing, and getting to know people when it hit me: the diversity of the fun-loving party people was remarkable. People were there from all around the world, all different walks of life, and all here for the same reasons: love of music, dance & adventure! How awesome is that? The party never stops on Groove Cruise for the entire 72 hours, so you have to pick your time to sleep wisely (if you decide to sleep at all that is). The first night Oscar G killed it in the liners ball room and I kept dancing 'til 6am. The atmosphere was incredible. By 9am after 3 hours of sleep I bolted out of bed because I couldn't miss covering the first party in Nassau, Bahamas. After grabbing a quick bite to eat, I headed ashore. Groove Cruise reserved an entire private beach for the party which was well under way by noon. Dirty South had the crowd going wild! The highlight of the cruise was the following day at an all day dance party on an exclusive private island. The half mile long island (out in the middle of nowhere) is only accessible by a small boat. DJ Max Vangeli headlined this amazing beach party. The energy and people were unbelievable and I have the photos to prove it! What made Groove Cruise so successful were the people. There was not one person I met that I didn't like! I made many new friends. Groove Cruise was an experience that literally changed me for the better. I plan on going again and again. Thank you Groove Cruise! Check out full photo gallery HERE! Whether you're rooting for the Steelers, Packers, or the commericials,

lots of booze, and shouting at the television. Mars Bar is fully hooked
up with five flat screen TVs, including one on the patio so you don't
have to miss a beat (if only they'd have some in the bathroom too!).
Wave those terrible towels, wear your cheeseheads proudly, and don't
