Nitevibe's Halloween Guide To The Top Parties - 2009
There's alot going on this weekend in San Francisco, but don't be scared of missing out! We've weeded through all the monster madness to bring you a guide of the hottest Halloween events. From Ruby Skye's two-nighter Alice in Wonderland party to Opel's Night of the Living Bass fright-fest, there's a party for every electronic musical taste. On Friday Paul Oakenfold's FreakBeat party at the Regency Center, Mighty's HallowNasty, and Mezzanine's Halloween Friday will heat up the weekend with a mix of tricks, treats, and beats. Then on Saturday the Ghost Ship massive will be going off on Treasure Island, while supperclub transforms into The Dead Light District, Shine hosts a Murder on the Dance Floor, and A Nightmare on Van Ness takes over the Regency with a star-studded lineup featuring locals Mark Farina and Miguel Migs. Cap off your Halloween weekend by lounging at supperclub's Breakfast In Bed party early Sunday morning, or keep the dancing going strong at The Endup's One for the Dancers. (EB)

Rocky Horror Halloween Jubilee

Brain Dead Alive
The final showing of Peter Jackson's zombie classic, "Brain Dead Alive," at The Great Star Theater will aptly fall on Hallow's Eve. Performed live by the Primitive Screwheads Theater Company in the style of a vintage 1940s radio parody, guests will be doused with gallons of fake blood sprayed all over the theater. There will be a coat check provided and adventurous attendees with a thirst for gory humor are advised to bring a towel or a change of clothing.
