One of the biggest boogaloo hits of the 60's, "Bang Bang" by the Joe Cuba Sextet was recently in Martin Scorsese's Academy Award winning film, "The Departed." Consisting of Thes One and Double K, P.U.T.S. produce funk heavy tracks with mucho jazz and funk influence. They've been compared to groups like A Tribe Called Quest and De La Soul, but they definitely have their own identifiable sound.
