Journey to the End of the Night
You can live in a city for years without experiencing a truly urban adventure. Journey to the End of the Night is a free street game of epic proportions that sets citizens loose in the concrete jungles of major metropolitan areas. In pursuit of checkpoints, players will have to avoid getting caught by chasers or else they will become chasers themselves turning on their former friends and allies. No skates, bikes, or cars will be allowed. Only good 'ol fashioned sneakers and public transportation can get you around town. Journey is not a competition of youth and strength, it's about a chance for you to test yourself against the city. Since Journey's inaugural run across SF in 2006, the game has been presented 11 different times in cities all over the country. The organizers do not accept monetary donations. They just want everyone to participate and spread the word! Date: Sat 6/20, Time: 7pm, Place: Mosswood Park Amphitheater, Cover: no cover, link More Info (EB)

Besides great music, they'll have something for everyone including a trapeze-thing area with high-jinx circus trapeze, a green-thing Area where you can learn how to live green, a lounge-thing so you can relax, and an artsy-thing where you can paint, glitter, and color your very own commemorative Summerthing poster. Link Of The Week

Deadline Post-It Stop Motion - This is my senior project at Savannah College of Art and Design. Where my idea comes from is that every time when I am busy, I feel that I am not fighting with my works, I am fighting with those post-it notes and deadline. I manipulating the post-it notes to do pixel-like stop motion and there are some interactions between real actor and post-its. link Click Here! The making of it here.
