Union Street Festival
For its 33rd year, The Union Street Festival will showcase 150 arts & crafts booths, 25 gourmet food booths, bistro style cafes, beer gardens, and two stages with live entertainment. As one of the largest free events in San Francisco, the festival will attract thousands meandering through the fashionable Union Street. This year the Gough entrance will feature eco-friendly and sustainable art projects. There will also be a reserved eco-zone for green exhibitors, businesses, and educational displays. St. James Infirmary, the first Occupational Health and Safety Clinic for Sex Workers, is celebrating its 10th Anniversary with a carnival of decadence at Paradise Lounge. 7th Annual Rock Paper Scissors Championship
Back for its 7th year, Roshambo Winery's namesake event--the annual Rock, Paper, Scissors Championship--will be happening this Saturday, drawing competitors and spectators alike from all around the world. The winery's signature event will be held at their tasting room at Cornerstone-Sonoma, and like every year is expected to draw hundreds of people throwing fists and fingers for their slice of the $1700 pie. As if this wasn't enough, the Space Cowboy's Unimog will be present to bring the soundrack to a day of sun, fun, heavy-handed competition, and and lots and lots of wine!
