Tonight at the Fillmore, Cornelius will be getting electrodelic just for you! Sometimes referred to as the Japanese Beck, he has remixed everyone from Beck to Bloc Party to Coldcut to, if you can believe it, Sting. He makes primarily organic tunes with electronic overtones, kind of like Air or Sebastian Tellier. He has been a heavy influence to the Tokyo dance pop scene since the early 90's and until recently signed to the independent label Matador Records. This is a not to be missed show. (WF) |
