If you really want to get groovin' this Tuesday, you can't go wrong with Baba Ken and his band of West African legends and San Francisco boogaloo regulars. They've put together a high energy Afrobeat revival project that improvises funk-laden jazzy grooves with hard-hitting drum rhythms. Bassist and producer Babá Ken Okulolo first toured the United States with King Sunny Ade and Soji Odukogbe, who were Fela Kuti's longtime frontman and lead guitar player.
