A Burning Opera

Tim and Eric Great Job Awesome Tour
Tonight Tim and Eric, from "Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!," are performing live for the SF Sketchfest. Tonight's show is a fast-paced, live variety show, complete with short films, parodies, pranks and musical numbers. Tim and Eric will also show never-before-seen videos and clips from the upcoming season of their Adult Swim series. Clownaround
Release your inner Bozo at tonight's gallery opening and afterparty. Enjoy the myriad of art from various artists displaying everything from paintings to "Erotic Woodcarvings,"then get your clownface on from professional airbrush face painters or do your own with the facepaints available. When gazing at art all seems too serious, head to the "Clown Wall," where DIY drawings and photos will be available for messing up. Later in the evening, move those big clown feet to some live Afro-Latin funk and DJ sets from Pleasuremaker or San Francisco's house pioneer Garth. For those of you who have experienced WMC in Miami, chances are you've gone to the legendary Club Crobar and heard DJ Juan Mejia. Known for his high-energy house music and seamless mixing, Juan will be making his debut appearance at Temple Nightclub for the official CD release party for "Products Of The Environment." And if you didn't think it could get any better, SF's pioneer of live house music, Sen-Sei, will be ready to take it to the next level with his skillful blending of live electronic elements. Rounding up this headlining duo are the skills of Remedy resident Brian Salazar up in the main room, while B.B. Hayes & Diji Kelli take over the downstairs with that "electro" sound. (FR)

San Francisco's new royally awesome nightclub brings the beats six nights a week! The club is off to a great start, so come check out the new digs with locals Garth & Jeno. You can't go wrong with this veteran duo and tonight they're rocking the house with a cosmic disco set. There will also be four solo sparring sessions with Jonboy, Comic Selector, Floorcraft, and DJ Deaf. All fighters will be bobbing, weaving, dancing and landing heavy blows, hoping not to be KO'd! Long before "minimal techno" had it's resurgence in San Francisco, techno true schoolers Kit Clayton and Sutekh were holding things down with their own productions running the gamut from minimal house and techno to experimental electronic collages. Tonight, these two make a rare appearance at the techno happy hour Killswitch, giving you long overdue auditory cleansing which will have the chins stroking, heads bobbing and asses ready for the weekend.
