Abraham Lincoln's Big Gay Dance Party
"What if Lincoln was gay? Would you have to rethink everything?" Historians argue over Honest Abe's sexual preference, but there's no conclusive evidence either way. In my opinion, it seems likely that the President who ended slavery was a 'bleeding heart homo.' Aaron Loeb explores this controversy in his hilarious three act play aimed at re-imagining our national identity and deconstructing one of our country's greatest icons. In a time when Prop 8 prevailed, we could use some more gay around here. Date: 12/13--1/17, Time: varies, Place: SF Playhouse (533 Sutter St.), Cover: $40, More Info. (EB)
