The prolific Rastafarian reggae artist, Anthony, is gonna tear it up at DNA Lounge! He got his start DJing in Jamaica during the late 80's, but gained international recognition from the reggae community with his 1997 album "Universal Struggle." As a "living personification of Afrikan cousciousness," Anthony tries to make us think with his lyrics and beats, rather than blindly entertain us. His 12th album "Life Over Death" is no exception and exemplifies Anthony's ability to educate and communicate with blazin' reggae productions. (EB) |

Whom along with a few friends co-created the "Material" night at Club Shelter NYC, which provided a home for then up and coming, out of town talents such as: Derrick Carter, Dj Sneak, Moodymann, Herbert amongst a whole sluth of others. Since then Maeda has continued producing and holds down residencies nation wide including his night at Chicago's Smartbar.
