Extra Action
Looking for a little "sumtin sumtin". Then how about Extra Action? Musical prodigy and artpunk outcast Jessie Evans was brought up with a classical musical upbringing, eager to learn every instrument she could get her hands on. After getting kicked out of marching band for being on acid, she became a musical nomad of sorts, traveling around Europe with only her sax in tow. Continuing her nomadic spirit, she went on to form a number of different groups, such as Subtonix, the Vanishing, and Autonervous. Currently residing in Berlin, Jessie returns to her native California to bring the sultry lo-fi sax laden funk that she's developed through her travels and collaborations. Throw in her "wild, shimmying stage presence"with the Extra Action Marching Band, and you've got some action which won't disappoint.
