Robots are art
This is the opening reception for the "Robots are art" show. This is both a gallery exhibtion and contest.There will be robots on hand serving patrons beer and painting...well, paintings. There will be no battlebots on hand because this will be a 100% violence free event. There will also be a robot contest for the best robot. The contest will focus on form, function, and fun. Monty the first humanoid robot will be there to judge the competion. Ah, another year, another 365 days of getting down in the country's best party city. But after all the holiday parties, travelling, packed shopping malls, and wondering where you can get your hands on a Wii, let's actually start thinking about what the real deal is: Where to go to celebrate New Years? Well don't worry folks, Nitevibe will be putting together a hotlist of places to hit so you can hit the right party that has your name all over it. From underground shindigs to decked out superclubs, we'll be your resource to let you know what's doin. We'll be updating our list as more events hit us, and we'll also be doing ticket giveaways for you clubbers who have been extra good this year. Still looking for that perfect Christmas gift? Then Piece Offering: Party with Jesus may just be the place to find it. Unique pieces and original clothing, coupled with artwork from various artists, could make the ideal present for a special someone in your life. Whether it's a hand painted shirt or jacket from Rtyst, whose clothing revolves around his artwork,or a one-of-a-kind graphic tee from Venom Thunder each gift is sure to be a big hit. The Subliminal Orphans are a high-energy live hip-hop band that tears up stages and gets crowds jumping. They're raising funds for Millennium Promise, a charity that aims to end extreme poverty worldwide (less then $1/day) by 2025. This particular show will benefit the Dindi village in Malawi to help invest in health, food production, education, access to clean water, and essential infrastructure.
