Lee Harvey Roswell and Aaron Lane showcase their artwork while Bohemian TV host Dee Dee Russell is her usual funky, fun self. Date: Friday 11/16, Time: 10pm-late, Place: Anon Gallery, 285 9th Street (@ Folsom), Cover: $10 b4 10:30pm, $15 festooned & free, $20 undressed turkeyness, More Info. (CQ)

Lyrics Born
When his song stayed at #1 for five weeks on Live 105, Lyrics Born became the first rapper to ever accomplish the feat. How? Perhaps it's because he mixes a conversational tone with complicated rhyming skills or because he makes observations about human interactions. Or maybe it's due to his unique style. Or maybe it's the political messages! Whatever the reason, Lyrics Born's talent has been recognized by many – a many that should soon include you. Plus, Ryan Shaw - who is bent on reviving the rhythm and blues era - will join Born onstage, bringing a passion and strong voice that will remind you of the golden era of music and inject even more talent into an already stellar show. Date: Saturday 11/17, Time: 9pm, Place: the Independent, Cover: $22, More Info. (CQ)
