Next 100 - So
the idea behind Urb Magazine's Next 100 (not the first 100) is to bring
attention to DJs and musicians on the rise. In last week's issue we
received some flake for not mentioning SF's more established DJ's -
those DJ's are already in the "First 100". So with that cleared
up. Here are some of your most recommended "Next 100" DJ's:
Charlotte the Baroness, Iz and Diz, Raw-B, the Oakland Faders, DJ Quest,
DJ Zeph, Monty Luke, Queen Agnes B, Mikebee, Lauris Lee, and Vin Roc.
Get to know your local Sonic Messiahs. We're putting the call out for
writers who know their music and DJ's to be featured in a new column.
Apply here.
Question
of the Week -
Where
did you go out over the weekend? What were some highlights?
Keep it short and sweet and maybe well publish it in next weeks
Buzz! All answers are rated on our tickel-factor meter... most humorous
recollection will win tickets to this Saturday's Gloss featuring East
Coast Boogie Men, Samo, & M3.

all night with or without the 20+ other DJs. Hotel Ibiza has modeled
itself after the island near Spain as a Mecca for all night party insanity.

$5 on his own. So this party get's the "Bang for your Buck Award".

some crazy-ass diggin' in the crates style soul and 80's inner city
madness. The Herb Caen Martini Society meets at midnight. Tell the crew.
