Snow
Festival
It's once again time to head for the slopes and join the North
Lake Tahonians in celebrating the kick-off of their 26th Annual
Snow Festival. Squaw just received several feet of fresh
powder, so take this perfect opportunity to enjoy the flurry of
events and activities they've got planned on and off the slopes.
The Opening Night Celebration and Fireworks takes place this Friday,
and you'll be treated to laser display, a torchlit parade,
and plenty of bass-heavy breaks and heat-conducting house emanating
from the infamous Unimog as the Space
Cowboys drop their bombs. On Saturday is the Parade
and the Space Cowboys' SnowDown party, the proceeds of which go
towards their "non-profit quest to keep your galaxy funky".
Come tuck yourself into a wintry wonderland for a weekend
of satisfying snowplay. Date: Friday 3/2
through Sunday 3/11, Place: Opening Night
Celebration takes place at 7:30pm, at Squaw Valley USA Base Village,
