Chillin'
Productions
Chillin' Productions is again stepping out into the spotlight,
but not without 60 of the hottest Bay Area fashion designers who
are ready, just as we are, to see their latest pieces strutted
up and down the runway. Mixerfriendly,
a name you hip-hop, funk, and dancehall DJs and groovers especially
may recognize will be out in top form, as will Erin
Mahoney, who's latest dresses are simply to die for to
us luxury-lovin' ladies. Additional eye candy comes in the form
of 80 painters/photographers and 60 filmmakers who will also be
exhibiting their works. Should you feel the onset of sensory overload,
head to the dancefloor, as DJ Johanson will be mixing up something
fierce, as will Russell Vargas, DJ Laron, Kerowack, Dirtyhertz,
and Dave Madix. From funky to progressive, the sound will be styling,
so don't miss out on this showcase of the latest and greatest

Device
Art
San Francisco is a city dedicated to knowledge and progress—and
as we all know, when the human mind meets the computer mind, some
beautiful things occur. Take the Device Art forum, a special presentation
by blasthaus
and dorkbotSF.
Here, you can see a group of artists from Eastern Europe
who have dedicated their lives to exploring the ways in which
art and technology intersect. You can preview their new works—ranging
from interactive teddy bears to perfumes made on-the-spot from
bodily fluids—and hear the artists speak about their projects,
which have been exhibited everywhere from Croatia to Coachella.

Four
Days of Ozomatli
Okay.
Ozomatli–the
Grammy-winning band who blends Latin, Arab, and African music
with hip-hop, rock, and social awareness—are in town. That would
be good enough news, but hear this: They're in town for four days,
and each day they're playing with a different band and featuring
a different style of music. We might as well call it the Ozomatli
Festival. On Wednesday you'll hear Luna Angel's reggae; Thursday
it's Crown City's conscious hip-hop; Friday, Wisdom spins soul
& hip-hop; Saturday brings SambaDa's Brazilian fusion. Pick
your favorite night and come out to hear the best up-and-coming
artists from up and down the West Coast, not to mention Ozomatli's
powerful grooves. Date: Wed 11/29-Sat 12/2; Time:
