Thanks
Once Again
Life moves pretty fast, and when you live in a city that offers
so many outstanding outlets for dancing and debauchery, it can
truly move at warp speed. While much of the country takes a holiday
weekend as a reason to pause, we see an extra-long weekend filled
with extra opportunities to have fun. Check out our picks for
working up an appetite prior to Thanksgiving with Jay-J, Mark
Farina, or possibly the Om crew, or plan a mental vacation after
the family fun and games with a multitude of post-holiday events
featuring the likes of Andy Caldwell, Sasha, Tom Middleton and
Jeff Mills. And as always on this special weekend, take a moment
to consider the hundreds of hard-working people who put their
heart and soul into making this scene what it is. Give up some
love and thanks to the bartenders, coatcheckers, bouncers, DJs,
promoters, hosts, and even your occassionally-humble online writers
and editors. And while it takes alot of work to make a good party
happen, the biggest ingrediant, and the one most deserving of
thanks, is all of you fun-loving dancers and DJ fans. So thank
you and keep the vibe alive!

Early Dreams
In case you didn't notice, we kicked off our Annual Top 10 DJDreamteam
Poll a little early this year, but from the results so far, we
didn't exactly sneak up on you! The votes are pouring in, fast
and furious, as are requests for names to be added to the poll.
We want to recognize all the Bay Area's outstanding DJ talent,
so we're happy to say we've added more than a few names that play
out and are based here. Every year the poll evolves and new names
challenge the reigning kings of the SF scene, and this year promises
to be no different. Our first list of leading vote getters shows names both new and old, so keep spreading the word and casting those
votes and recognize the best of the best in America's DJ mecca.
Vote
Now. (SG)

individuals and businesses, benefits the UCSF Children's Hospital.
Start the season of giving by making a $10 donation
of your own—or just swaddle yourself in scarves and join the party!
