the Festival of the Golden Gate hopes to become a signature event
for San Francisco. Highlighting the Bay's unique musical and artistic
heritage, you'll find elements of everything from the Godfather
of Soul to full playa-scale artwork, complete with acrobats! That's
right, the one and only James Brown will be onhand, along with
Brian Setzer, the Donnas, Lyrics Born, Persephone's Bees and Michael

Björk's partner, Matthew Barney, is an accomplished artist in
his own right. His groundbreaking project "Drawing
Restraint" spans almost twenty years, and uses performance
as well as several styles of two- and three-dimensional stationary
art forms to explore the struggle against resistance. Now you
can see the entire body of work in a special installation at SF
MoMA. Don't miss the daily screening of "Drawing Restraint
