I'm sure it won't surprise you that Nitevibe officially endorses John Kerry and would do anything to get that two-timing Texan half-wit out of power. We share this view with the majority of the planet according to worldwide polls. I'm positive that we can overcome a few midwestern states that stand in the way of positive change. There are also many crucial issues on state and local levels also riding on this election. So in case you haven't done your homework, here are some helpful resources that get the official Nitevibe stamp of approval and will hopefully motivate your ass to the voting booth bright and early! First you need to know where to go. You can look up your polling place here. Get informed on the issues! The easiest technique is to make those decisions at home and bring a "cheat sheet" into the voting booth with you. We recommend printing the SF Guardian's "Clean Slate" page. It provides a quick summary in plain words on each candidate and proposition and why they are for or against it. Check it out but remember to vote according to your conscience! For a more impartial (and boring) explanation of issues click here for the official Voter Information Pamphlet. Ok, so you did your research, you voted and you even called your friends in swing states and told them to DUMP BUSH. Now what? Visualize Winning! P. S. Speaking of visualization, Nitevibe readers may want to start visualizing a few more winners for a special Nitevibe poll that only happens once a year. Stay tuned for details! (JP)
Vote NO on Proposition L You've probably heard of Proposition L. Claims it will save local movie theatres in San Francisco. But did you know it's opposed by the Board of Supervisors, the San Francisco Film Society, the SF Neighborhood Theater Foundation, and Mayor Gavin Newsom? It may sound good on the ballot but it's actually a deceitful measure that, if successful, would divert $10 million a year from the general fund away from fire, police, art, MUSIC and health programs in the city. Be informed before you fall for the scam. Check out the movie trailer featuring Sean Penn asking you to VOTE NO on PROPOSITION L and make your vote count today!
