So Much Good Music, It's Scary...

Happy Halloween from the Nitevibe Crew! We have been working around the clock consulting with devilish creatures from all walks of life (and death) to bring you the most comprehensive party schedule this side of Hades. Hip-Hop fans will revel in the sounds of NYC's Bobbito and Spinna who are set to channel Stevie Wonder through the turntables. Looking for some haunted house? Roger Sanchez plays a deadly set at Mezzanine while Kerri Chandler gets souls soaring at Mighty, and of course the Disco of the Dead only happens underground. Freaky breaks will frighten the tops off tramps and hos; while trance fans (as if they're not scary enough) can enjoy the ghost of Oakey and many others throughout these spooky nights. Nitevibe welcomes you to a weekend that's oozing with supernatural sound so check our weekly pix if you dare... (JP)

Halloween In The Castro
There will be goblins, ghosts, and very pretty "ladies" sauntering up and down the Castro in celebration of the coolest holiday in town. Halloween in the Castro historically has seen its share of peaks and valleys. Most years are simply fun, fun, fun, but there have also been occasional incidents, including tragic deaths. Because of this, the event has become a little more controlled, but it's still more outrageous than most cities ever see. There are DJ booths worked by our city’s finest, the costume contests are not to be missed, and there will be thousands of revelers dressed in outrageous and elaborate wardrobes haunting the streets. Everyone is welcome. If you’re game, see you out there. Date: Sun.10/31, Time: 7pm-12am, Place: Castro & Market, Cover: $3 donation. More Info (KW)
