Halloween In The Castro
There will be goblins, ghosts, and very pretty "ladies" sauntering up and down the Castro in celebration of the coolest holiday in town. Halloween in the Castro historically has seen its share of peaks and valleys. Most years are simply fun, fun, fun, but there have also been occasional incidents, including tragic deaths. Because of this, the event has become a little more controlled, but it's still more outrageous than most cities ever see. There are DJ booths worked by our city’s finest, the costume contests are not to be missed, and there will be thousands of revelers dressed in outrageous and elaborate wardrobes haunting the streets. Remix Hotel in San Francisco
Remix Hotel descends upon San Francisco hosting three day/night seminar on music production and remixing. These classes and workshops are centered around everything that has to do with electronic music and are taught by industry professionals and familiar names like Dan the Automator, Paul Oakenfold and Paul Van Dyk. Admission is free and if you are in any way, shape, or form involved in the industry, then there’s no reason why you shouldn’t stop by and have a Q&A with Blackalicious, Gabriel & Dresden, or DJ Collette.
