How Weird Street Faire
The 5th Annual How Weird Street Faire is on for this Saturday, and what could be more enjoyable than a day out with those of your own kind? You'll be hearing it all from house and breaks to psytrance, and maybe even happy hardcore, and will also enjoy live band performances, theatrical acts, a healthy beer garden, arts and crafts, and the blessed reminder that weird is good, and though some may stare, its really alright to wear Christmas socks (and little else) the whole year round if you feel so inclined. Date: Sat., May 1st, Time: 1pm-9pm,  Place: Howard and 12th St., Cover: $5 donation, $3 if you're in a weird costume, After: House of Breaks at House of Shields, More Info

Ian Johnson Exhibit Opening

A hard working artist he recently received a layout in a prestigious UK magazine ‘Straight No Chaser’ and is currently contributing to esteemed hip-hop journal ‘Wax Poetics Magazine.’ His contributions to the local culture scene include an in-house artist position for Western Addition skateboarding and forming ‘Live’ another skateboarding company.
