Peruvian-Asian Cuisine and DJs
In true San Francisco fashion, an exotic new restaurant and lounge in Potrero Hill is opening its doors to the hungry and the hip. With a Peruvian-Asian fusion menu, Circolo is one of the latest manifestations of the SF fusion cuisine trend. The real action, however, is not in the kitchen but at the "lounge," where DJs will be spinning house-like sounds and the crowd will be lounging and consuming. To kick things off on opening night, local beatmasters M. Klein, JZ, Cindy, Chad Mitchell and Dano will take turns spicing up the air with funky, loungy house beats. Date: Saturday, April 24, Time: 7pm-2am, Place: Circolo 500 Florida St. @ Mariposa, Cover: Free, dinner reservations recommended, More Info (NT)

Ladies Light Up 4:20
The Oakland Arena will be ablaze with talent while the pre-show parking lot is ablaze with blunts at the "Ladies First Tour" featuring Beyonce, Alicia Keys, Missy Elliott with guest, Tamia. These queens of contemporary R&B/hip-hop will surely have the crowd crazy in love with this megashow of epic proportions (this being Beyonce's first ever tour!) If you don't know her name, you've been missing out because Alicia Keys piano riffs and voice are a soulsonic force to be reckoned with. Missy Elliot brings the harder beats and rhymes and I promise you will have no problem getting your freak on here. The lesser known yet grammy nominee, Tamia will answer any questions you may have about her talent. Now I just went through and named a song by every artist but you were probably too high to notice. Happy 4/20! Date: April 20th, Time: 7pm, Place: Oakland Arena, Cover: $50 -$87, More Info (JP)
