Rejuvenate the Rainforests
Thud! That's the sound of a tree falling in the 6% remaining rainforests in the world! We could strap ourselves to an old-growth giant and refuse to leave until it's protected, but that's a bit extreme. Another option is Rejuvenate, a fundraiser to conserve the rainforest of Costa Rica. For just $20, you can contribute to this worthy cause, play with some exotic animals (whose habitat you'll be saving), enjoy organic snacks, wine tasting's, and massages, view eco-fashion and experience a rainforest media installation. Oh, yeah, there's music too. Tal M. Klein will be providing ambience with his tropical lounge music during the mini-expo (7-9pm) while djs Soulsalaam, Laird, Michael Manahan will be orchestrating the after party fun (9pm-2am).
