Last week, the numinous nocturnes of
Second Sunday Productions turned their attentions towards the needs of NYC
and launched United We Stand. This week, their philanthropy continues.
Don’t miss Solidarity this Thursday at DNA Lounge. A ten-dollar or more
donation at the door goes directly to the American Red Cross and United
Way. In exchange, die-hard DJ’s like Miguel Migs, the luminaries of
Soulstice Soundsystem, XLR8R, KUSF, Felix the Dog, and more donate their
time and talent to our scene’s continuing effort to be all it can be. They
raised eleven K last Sunday. Think we can beat that this week? You bet we
can. We sprang forward, now it’s time to fall
back on these San Francisco standards. Ease back into the groove with this
classic line-up. Maybe you haven’t checked out some of these regular
weekly parties, or maybe you just need a familiar vibe as you emerge from
your CNN cocoon. Say good-bye to Wolf, Sam, Peter, Tom, and the rest of
your newscaster buddies, and ease on down to these roads:
